Beauty – What is it? My brother Bruce would say it is his sail boat Beauty, which we spent many magical moments on and was actually my mom’s happy place. And according to Google, “Beauty is Happiness! It is the images and moments that inspire and reresent the most distinct and remarkable attractiveness of our souls. It is the moments we feel free and real.” This is what those of us lucky enough to be in the company of Sally experienced. This is who Sally was……A True Beauty!

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sally Keller of Los Angeles, California from complications due to the Covid-19 virus. She was 81 years young. She passed away on January 21, 2021 in Los Angeles, California.

Sally was born in Bronx, New York to David and Leah Newman on March 21, 1939. She married Jerry Keller on September 28, 1960 and remained married to him until his death on November 6, 1983. Together they moved to Los Angeles, California in 1962 and have resided there ever since.

Sally was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to all who knew her. As a friend said, “She was a cool lady, energetic, and showered everyone with love”. Sally was a stunning woman who would light up any room with her radiant beauty. Her beauty was ageless. Sally always had a taste for adventure, even up until her very last days. We would find her traveling to exotic places, exploring caves in Australia, jet-skiing in Lake Tahoe, and kayaking and sailing in Catalina. Sally was truly an inspiration for us all. She will be missed and forever be in our hearts.

Sally is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; parents, David and Leah; and her brother, Howie.

Sally is survived by her three children, Jacqueline, Bruce and Jeffrey; two step-children, Bernard and Robert; her siblings, Paul and Betty; and her grandchildren, Jerrett, Jessea, Zachary, Marina, Zellick, Xavier, Gabe, Rebecca, and Josh.

A private funeral is scheduled to be conducted via Zoom at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles on January 31, 2021.

The family of Sally Keller wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all the caring heroes at Kaiser-West LA who took such good care of Sally. We all thank you for your compassion and dedication.

Memorials or donations may be made to Kinder4Rescue.org for homeless pets and The Jewish Community Center – Chabad of Beach Cities.

May her memory be a source of strength and blessing for all.
