Ditta Weiner

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Ditta Weiner. Ditta passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, at the age of 92 in Asheville, North Carolina. Born in Vienna, Austria, Ditta eventually settled in Southern California with her husband, Mitchell Weiner, a fellow immigrant from Romania. Together, they raised three children: Robin, Bobby, and Janet. Following Mitchell’s passing in the early nineties, Ditta moved to Asheville, North Carolina, where she spent her final years living happily and comfortably, surrounded by family and friends. Ditta lived a full and vibrant life. Her peaceful passing reflected the way she lived, held by God’s gentle hands as she was called home to be reunited with Mitchell. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Until We Meet Again -I am writing this from Heaven, Where I Dwell with God above, I am resting here with Angels, Who Surround me now with Love. Although I may seem far away, we will truly never part, for part of me Lives on Forever, There within your Heart. So, remember to have Faith, Be Courageous and be Strong. Think of me with a smile, and when you hear a Heartfelt song. As life’s beautiful journey continues, may you remember now and then, I will Love and Protect you Always, Until We Meet Again. In loving memory. Funeral services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 West Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 2 pm.
