Grief Support Groups at Hillside

While no one grieves the same way, a recent loss can feel overwhelming to many. Our monthly grief support groups are facilitated by a trained professional and are designed to help participants navigate the healing process in the company of others sharing similar experiences.

About Maggi Scharf

Maggi Scharf, M.Ed., CPCC is a Certified Grief Educator and Coach with extensive experience supporting individuals and groups through loss.



Maggi has worked as a personal and group coach for many years, and over time, walking alongside others in the tender and often difficult terrain of grief has become the heart of her work. She holds this work as sacred and considers it a deep honor to create space for people—whether they are grieving a recent loss or seeking a place to tend to losses from the past.


With compassion and presence, Maggi bears witness to the quiet, meaningful ways healing begins to unfold. She invites you to join her in a safe, caring, and nonjudgmental setting where you can share stories, connect with others, and be heard and witnessed.
