It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephanie Shipp-Viezbicke, a devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, cherished sister, aunt and friend to so many. Stephanie was born April 27, 1971, and peacefully transitioned out of this earthly life on July 13, 2026. During her 55 beautiful years she worked as a dolphin trainer in Hawaii, owned a destination wedding business and had a deep love for animals of every kind.

She is survived by her loving husband, Justin Viezbicke, her daughters Tatum and Kendall Viezbicke, who were the center of her world; her parents-in-law Tom and Linda Viezbicke; her sister-in-law Jamie Hunt (husband, Clayton); her stepmother, Wanda Shipp; her sisters Alison Shipp and Crystal Shipp; Bruce Silverman, her surrogate Dad; her aunt Jo Ann Oster (husband, Joe); her cousins, Louis Posen (wife, Michelle and daughter Ellie), Ben Posen, (wife, Noreen and son Henry), Robert Shipp Jr, and Austin and Everett Shipp, (wife, Mathilde); and Nan, the wife of her late grandfather, Robert Shipp.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Dean Shipp and Jeri Shipp; Uncle Craig; Bret Shipp (brother) and her grandparents Robert and Verlene Shipp.

A private memorial service celebrating Stephanie’s life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park & Mortuary, 6001 West Centinela Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90045.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Stephanie at the home of Justin and Stephanie on the afternoon of July 26 Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. All are welcome to celebrate A hui Hou (until we meet again) with the family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honor Stephanie’s legacy and courageous 10-year battle with Parkinson's disease by donating to the Michael J Fox Parkinson’s Foundation. She never stopped hoping for a cure, and supporting Parkinson’s research would be a meaningful way to honor her life and the hope she carried for others or if you prefer, she loved horses and Free Rein Foundation - Healing Humans and Rescued Horses is a place that cares for horses needing love and attention.
