Lois Buckman Feldman

Lois Feldman, daughter of Gete and Al Buckman, was born in Los Angeles and graduated from LA High in 1953 and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA in 1957. That same year she married her husband of nearly 65 years, Jerry (1929-2022). She served as an English teacher and librarian at dozens of LAUSD and other schools for 30 plus years. 

Lois was a loving mother to Ken (Nora Stein) and Diana Feldman Perez (Rick) and grandmother to Melissa, Justin (Gitit), Zach and Danny. She is also survived by her sister Ellie Weinstein. 

Lois had an understated zest for life. This included traveling, watching Jeopardy and old black-and-white movies, reading books, and going to jazz shows with Jerry. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois’ memory can be made to the American Heart Assiciation.
