Irv Pinsky was my loving, sweet, gentle, affectionate, creative, intelligent father. He was always fun, interested in life and people, and great to be with, I remember very early memories of laughing and giggling as he and my mother Carol tickled and cuddled me. I remember making little pieces of furniture out of cardboard boxes, from complete kitchen sets to doll houses. Every material was another source for making whatever we could dream up. He was always imaginative, fun, and enjoyed being a father. Later he became my boss, and I got to see how well he treated other people, those he worked under, worked with, and his own employees. He was my first best friend, and I will always miss him. I can't ever remember having a fight with him, although we did disagree on many things, but most of all he taught me how to be loved and to appreciate my good fortune at having great parents. I am filled with millions of warm, happy, loving memories of ice skating, swimming in the lakes in Minnesota and the oceans of California, attending many movies together at the Academy of Arts & Sciences in Beverly Hills, going to thousands of garage and estate sales with him since I was ten, and sharing meals together discussing a myriad of topics. I miss him deeply and always will. R.I.P.
