Paul Goldstein has served as General Manager of Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary since 2011. Mr. Goldstein is very active in the community, serving on the boards of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce, Jewish Funeral Directors of America, Cemetery and Mortuary Association of California, International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association, and the Board of Rabbis, Funeral Practices Committee.
I am pleased to announce the launch of Hillside Memorial Park’s “Life Well Lived” blog. Our commitment to community extends beyond the gates of our park, and we are always looking for ways to share and connect with those around us.
The vision I have for this blog is to help open communication with family and friends about honoring and memorializing the deceased – and planning ahead for ourselves. The more familiar we become with the subject of death, and the many decisions which must be made toward the end of life, the better able we are to embrace the natural progression of life and feel confident in making these choices. Along with opening the lines of communication, I also see this blog as an opportunity to share information and insight about our cemetery, mortuary and stories from families like yours who have chosen Hillside as the final resting place for themselves and their loved ones.
Our “Life Well Lived” blog will feature posts from contributing authors who have varied experience within the funeral industry. Additionally, each of our contributors brings a unique perspective to the subject at hand, ensuring a balance of education, information and entertainment.
As the name of our blog suggests, each life has a story to tell and each story does not end with loss of life, but rather continues on from generation to generation.
