Alvin Talbot born 12/16/31, passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on January 14, 2021. Al was born in Brooklyn, NY to Miriam and Morris and is survived by the love of his life, his wife of over 62 years, Shirley, sons Jonathan (Lisa) and Robert (Peter) and daughter Jane (Guy), and his beloved grandchildren Steven, Bria, Erin and Jennifer, who worshipped their grandpa. Al was predeceased by his brother Donald. Al graduated from Baruch College and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Al was a self-made man and should have been very proud of his accomplishments, but was humble, gentle, kind, loving, supportive and generous. He spent the bulk of his career at Xerox, rising through the ranks to eventually be part of the Venture Capital Group, earning the respect of people who became lifelong friends. Al was the original multi-tasker and was fond of reading, sports, traveling and spending time with the people he loved. In his retirement he kept busy taking classes at the Plato Society. He had the best sense of humor and a very quick wit. Al was always there for his family and will be greatly missed by his grieving family and friends, for whom his loss is immeasurable.
