Lewis E. Notrica born July 16, 1925 in Portland, Oregon. He was the first son of Joseph and Annette Notrica and the first to be born in America. The family moved to Los Angeles when Lewis was a few years old. Lewis was a born leader. He was president of his class at Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles. Lewis served his country in the Navy during World War II, when he came home, he attended USC and became a lawyer. He loved USC football, gardening, building decks in his backyard, cooking, entertaining and his Sephardic roots. But mostly he loved his family. Lewis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mari, daughters, Judy Brassfield, Jody Benon, and Nikki Notrica. His grandsons, Sam Lewis, Aron Lee, and Mason, granddaughters, Courtney, Natalie, Ashlee, and Emily and 10 great-grandchildren, brother Morrie (Susan) Notrica, nephew Joseph Lewis and niece Samantha. |
