Yoko Fukushima Morino passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 22, 2023. She was an amazing woman who survived the horrors of World War II, married Ronald Hubert Askew, a prominent American business man, and adapted to a new life and culture in the U.S. while maintaining the dignity and honor of her Japanese heritage. She set a high standard for her daughters to follow. We will miss her greatly.
