My father was both a wonderful father and role model to me. All four of his grandkids look up to him and continue to make him proud in his honor. My Dad and I had a true and pure relationship. No words are needed to be spoken. They are just “known” heart to heart, father to daughter. They are very personal and private. He was my hero. I am a true Carpenter “through and through”. We always had a very special bond and strong relationship, which very few will ever experience nor understand. I am extremely proud to be his daughter. RIP Dad. I will continue our conversations daily, just as we talked about… I love you Dad. ~Your daughter, Aimee

He was a brother, father, friend & husband but to me, he was my grandpa. He taught me so many life lessons. He started my passion for fishing & fueled my love for adventure. He was always there, even if it was just living through my pictures I sent him. I will forever be grateful for the time we had & the memories we made, all the way until the very end. I’ll love you forever & miss you always, grandpa.

The first brother I ever had, he invested in life wisely. Head, Heart and hands went to family and friends before self. A genuine Carpenter through and through. I can only pray that planting him in California produces like in kind, his three daughters are a wonderful example. May he rest in peace. “I love you more” brother bruce.
