Sherry Lee Steinberg

Sherry Lee Steinberg, loving grandmother, mother, sister and friend passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 13th 2025. She was 88 years old.

Sherry lived life with laughter, kindness, purpose and love. Passionate about family, helping others, exercise and learning, she lived her life to the fullest. Her love for travel took her all over the world. Her love for family and friends allowed all that knew her to share in her joy, warmth and the light she brought into their lives.

Sherry was a devoted mother to Leonard and Kari, and a proud grandmother to Samantha, Jenna, Jack, and Nick. She had a beautiful marriage to Larry, whose partnership filled her life completely. After his passing Sherry had a wonderful and loving relationship with Hank for more than 30 years. .

In addition to focusing on her family, Sherry volunteered with local charities, brought home made meals to those in need and always stood by your side to celebrate the good times and to be a shoulder to cry on when you were having a tough day.

In addition to her love for family and friends, Sherry’s passion was running. Sherry ran dozens of 5 and 10K races, as well as several ½ marathons. Her greatest running achievement was completing the Los Angeles Marathon at 65 years old in just under 7 hours.

We will all miss her smile, her guidance, her sweetness and her passion for life.
