Shawn Darlene Laufer, born October 9, 1955, in Los Angeles, passed away on February 17, 2026, in Rancho Cucamonga.

She was born to Morris Levy and Faye Kemelhar in Los Angeles, California. Shawn built her life around family, love, and resilience. She shared her life with her husband, Charles Fleming, and together they created a beautiful and loving family that became her greatest pride and joy.

Shawn was known for her loving and caring heart. She had a natural gift for helping others and never hesitated to lend a hand to anyone in need. Whether it was offering advice, support, or simply a listening ear, she made people feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. Her kindness and generosity touched countless lives.

She is survived by her children: Robert Laufer, Shannon Stafford, Charles Gene Fleming, Misty Fenton, Jennifer Rhea, and Lori Murphy.

She also leaves behind many of her beloved grandchildren: Christopher Ashmore (Riley), Gavin Barszcz, Marisa Ashmore (AJ Torres), Danae Laufer (Angel Alvarez), Alyssa Laufer (Aliyah Porter), and Robert Laufer (Brenda Bissen), Alyssa Murphy, Charles Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Jazmyn Murphy, Destiny, Vincent, Camren, Serenity, Bladyen, Michael.

Shawn was also blessed with great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life: Ariella Torres, Bryson Torres, Wrenleigh Ashmore, Jettson Ashmore, and Violet Ashmore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Faye Levy and Morris Levy; her daughters, Stephanie Ashmore and Tiffany Fleming; and her cherished grandson, Bryce Reedy.

Shawn’s legacy is one of unconditional love, strength, and compassion. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on through the generations she nurtured and through all those whose lives she touched. She will be forever missed and always remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
