Sandra Lynn Watzman

Sandra Lynn Watzman, 81, of Marina Del Rey, CA passed away peacefully at Providence St. John’s in Santa Monica October 27th, 2026 after complications due to an emergency surgery. She was surrounded with blessings, care and love from her friends and family.

“Sandy” was born in Los Angeles March 10th, 1945, and attended Ulysses S. Grant High School, LA Valley College and completed her bachelors and master’s degree at California State University Northridge. She then made a wonderful career for herself as a beloved counselor, therapist and teacher.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father and mother William and Florence Bronsten, her brother Jack, sister Betty, partner Dennis and most tragically her beautiful children Kimberly and Ryan. She is survived by her cousin Lisa and her nephew Dan.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, November 4th at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles. A time of fellowship will follow thereafter with the location to be announced at the conclusion of service. Donations to her favorite charities; American Cancer Society and St. Jude's Children's Hospital are appreciated. Much love.
