It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sandy Hoffman on November 13, 2022 at the age of 88.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Irving, parents, Ben and Irene Silverstein, and daughter, Nikki Schiro. She leaves behind her beloved sister, Myrna Oken; children Sheri Hoffman, Michael Hoffman (Tracie); and grandchildren Jay Davis, Devin and Lauren Schiro, and Elijah Hoffman. She also leaves behind many adored nieces and nephews, and devoted and caring friends.
Sandy lived her entire life in Los Angeles. She served as president of the 500 Club Auxiliary of City of Hope, where she was a tireless fundraiser for over 30 years.
A funeral service will take place at Hillside Memorial Park on Thursday, November 17 at 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to City of Hope.
