Rosalyn Judith Kleiman

Rosalyn Kleiman passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Born in Queens New York, she was the daughter to Hyman and Betty Forman, and sister of Arnie. Roz graduated Adelphi University and became a teacher after moving to Cincinnati, Ohio.

She is survived by a loving family; her two daughters, Pam and Sheri; her step-son, Bobby (and his wife Miriam); step-daughter, Lisa; step daughter-in-law, Lori; her grandchildren, Evan (and his wife Abbie), Danielle, Noah (and his wife Jessie), Courtney (and her husband Damiano) and Jennifer; her great-grandchildren, Naomi, Levi, Louie and Zoe; and her nieces Penny and Lori.

Roz met and married her second husband Marty Kleiman, who was the absolute love of her life. Together they built an incredibly beautiful life filled with family, and philanthropy, and joy and hardships that they weathered together. They never left each other's side literally and figuratively. They had a bond and relationship that was fiercely loyal and loving and filled with a pure joy of living life to its fullest.

Roz taught kindergarten through third grade at Yavneh Day School until she moved to Los Angeles. She had two masters' degrees in Special Education and Art Therapy. She taught art therapy to special needs children at Valley Beth Shalom; started Tuesday's Child an organization that distributed daily living supplies to families in need that were afflicted with AIDS; supported Camp Pacific Heartland a summer camp for children that were HIV positive who could not attend other summer camps; ran an after school program for high risk children Kids In Distress at 70- 80 years old.

Rozzie was the most generous, strong, super intelligent, kind, wickedly funny with a dark sense of humor, and loyal, loving soul. She will be terribly missed by all who loved and adored her. We were beyond blessed to have had her in our lives.

Services will be held Monday, September 8, 2026 at 2pm at Hillside Memorial Park.
