Share your Memorial with Family & Friends
My condolences to Dr. Sohn's family. I learned through my attorney that he had passed away. I was so shocked and saddened. I first met Dr. Sohn about 6 years ago and had met with him for several work related injuries over the years. I only knew him on a doctor patient level but I could tell he was a great man. The last appointment I had with him he could see that I was tired from my 5 month old twin girls. He said "Get some rest Joshua and take care of those girls. See you in a couple months!" I feel privileged to have met him. Rest in peace Dr. Sohn

Dear Francine, I know it's been years since we've been in touch, but you and Roger have been very much on my mind since I heard the shocking news of his death. He was such a mensch, and it's not a bit surprising to hear what a lasting impression he made on his friends and patients. May their support give you strength at a trying time like this, and may Roger's memory be for a blessing.

Dear Francine, My heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prayers to you and your family. I’m so shocked and saddened by the news of Roger’s passing… Roger was a real Prince, one of the sweetest, kindest and selfless people I ever met. So unbelievably warm and caring. I adored him, and always enjoyed our talks, seeing him at Eagles games… I always admired the incredible father, family man and friend he was to so many. I’m so very sorry for your loss. it was an honor knowing him. He was so special!

I had known Roger since I was a young child and as I write this today as a young adult my impression of him never changed. He was a man of overwhelming generosity, profound intelligence, and a unrelenting devotion to his wife and children. The stories emblematic of these traits that poured out during the services yesterday serve as a testament to the way Roger lived his life. He lived by admirable principles that I held, and still hold, as aspirational. These principles and qualities that made him such a magnificent man will be carried on through his family and will continued to be felt, making this world a better place, as Roger did. I will miss him greatly and will remember the great times we shared, such as my first Kings game, my first time in Palm Springs, and so many other firsts that characterized him as a man. He loved to give others experiences that they may not have had otherwise. Rest in Peace Roger, your presence will be missed in a way words are incapable of expressing.

It has always been a pleasure to work with Dr. Sohn. He is a true gentleman. For many years our court reporters have worked with him and we all love him. He will be missed. It is heartbreaking to lose him. I hope someone keeps his office chair as it was special to him. Rest In Peace, Dr. Sohn.

Dr. Sohn I received a phone call yesterday from your office cancelling my appointment with you. When I said ok when is the new date they told me the news. I know I only seen you a few times but you truly left an impression and my heart was broken. I was looking forward to seeing you again and now devastated I never get to. My husband and I enjoyed talking with you and enjoyed you poking fun at my husband for never meeting such a giant man. To the Sohn family, I am deeply sorry for your loss but I hope you know Roger was one of a kind. Forever in my heart and never forgotten.

Although my wife and I did not know Dr. Sohn on a personal level he was a tremendous light of hope and reassurance in dealing with my wifes neck Injury. I'm very sadden to hear the world has lost a great man. He was none of the best people I have ever met. Thank you for leaving such an amazing impression on our lives!

Dr. Roger Sohn was a true gentleman and treated everyone with courtesy and respect. We went to the same university and we would always remind each other of that when I would show up at his office for a deposition. He always had a kind word for everyone. I hope his family can take comfort in that he is amongst the angels now and that he will be with us forever !!!!

To the Sohn Family - we were shocked and heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of your husband, father, and grandfather. We are so grateful to have had the privilege of calling him our Friend. I have great memories of Roger performing impromptu magic tricks, welcoming my family into your home for holiday gatherings, and regaling us with tales of the accomplishments of Fran and the children: He was so proud of all of you. We will miss him.

Dear Sohn family: I would like to share a moment of his life with you. I am confident that it is indicative of his character and his legacy. About 17 years ago I was going through a rough patch and found myself at his deposition. While we were waiting for the court reporter, we began talking about our lives, kids etc,. After the deposition was completed I left his office only to return as I had no money for parking and was starving as I had nothing to eat as the deposition started late and ended late. So here I am with no money and hungry. Not only did he buy me lunch (a salad with blackened chicken) but he paid (not his office validation but out of his own pocket) my parking. Over the years seeing him at his office and shaking his hand, I will forever remember the generosity and humanity demonstrated by Dr. Roger Sohn. Rest in peace, you will be missed.
