Roberta “Bobbi” Berman passed away on 6/2/2016. Bobbi was born on May 5, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York to Josephine Bess and Hy Zelan. After growing up in Somerville, New Jersey, she returned to New York at 18 to study at the Traphagen School of Fashion and later moved to California with her new husband, Edward Berman. They had three children whom Bobbi loved and supported unconditionally and tirelessly. In the early 80s, Bobbi and a partner opened up Perfectly Suited, a successful clothing store for professional women. In addition, Bobbi was an accomplished gourmet cook, a warm hostess, a creative crafter and a prolific punster. She always saw the best in others, and her kindness, beauty and grace touched family, friends, and strangers alike. Bobbi is survived by her children, Lisa Berman Gonzalez, Karen Berman, and Ian Berman, by her grandchildren Trey Dao, Sophia Gonzalez, and Mia Berman, and by her sweetheart, Emil Britt.
