Hannah Rosalyn Cahn
February 8, 1924 – March 29, 2019

Hannah Cahn passed away peacefully. She was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and aunt.
She was born in Frankfurt, Germany to Dr. Fritz Goode and Paula Goode. Her sister Ruth, passed away when they were teenagers. Hannah fled Germany with her parents in 1938 to England, where she attended school. A few years later the family moved to Los Angeles. While visiting her uncle in Montreal, she met her husband Frank on a blind date. He proposed a week later, and they were happily married for close to 66 years, until her dearest Frank passed away in 2016. They decided to live in Los Angeles and in a few years she had her “3 Cahn boys.” Steven (Rhonda), Howard (Julie) and Randall (Kristine). Although raising her boys was a full time job she also had time for her true passion of her pursuit of Judaism, her support of Israel and Temple Isaiah in Los Angeles and later on Temple Isaiah in Palm Springs as Sisterhood President and a board member at both temples. She was a strong supporter of Hadassah where she was The Woman of the Year, the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, MDA in Israel in which they donated 2 ambulances and The Ulpan Program. Frank and her enjoyed traveling to Europe and especially to Israel annually for close to 40 years. She will be missed and remembered by all. She is survived by her 3 sons, their wives and her 9 grandchildren; Jared, Lauren, Michelle, Brian, Taylor, Joshua, Brett, Michael, Sarah and her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday April 2, 2019 at 2 PM at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary. Donations may be made to Hadassah or The Frank and Hannah Cahn Ulpan Fund of Temple Isaiah in Los Angeles.
