Norm was a UCLA Bruin, Husband, Father, Soldier, Businessman and Friend. He was a wonderful human being. Rest in Peace Colonel Saunders. Thank you for your service. Thank you for being my friend. I love you 3000. Colonel (COL)(O6) Addressed as colonel. Typically commands brigade-sized units (3,000-5,000 soldiers), with a Company Sergeant Major as principal non-commissioned officer assistant. Also found as the chief of divisional-level staff agencies.
