Norman David Saunders

Norm really loved life.
The quintessential family man who adored his two sons, Gary and Michael.
He was the cherished husband of Joan Saunders (1935-2016). A combination of fun loving and focused ; he successfully ran hotel gift shops and hallmark specialty stores for over 40 years.
Norm was passionate about travel, theater, movies, UCLA football and basketball, his special friends and his country.
He served 37 years retiring as a full colonel in the US ARMY.
Norm lit up the room and “was an original” in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Joan and Norman Saunders memorial fund c/o Wilshire Blvd. Temple, ASPCA, Union Rescue Mission, Perfect Pet Rescue, Wounded Warrior Project and Children’s Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 6th @2pm Hillside Memorial Park
