Myron Louis LeVine, 89, of Marina Del Rey, California, passed away on January 16, 2020. Myron was born in 1930 to Jennie and Jack LeVine and grew up in Los Angeles. He graduated from Hamilton High School and then studied optometry at Pacific University. Myron met Nancy, the love of his life, and they were married in 1953. They raised a family of three boys in Westwood. They shared a love of travel and were frequent patrons of local performing arts. Myron continued these interests with companion, Naomi Nedelman, after the death of his wife. Myron maintained a private practice in optometry on Beverly Drive for many years. After closing his private practice, he began working for clinics that provided optometry services to low income patrons through 2018.

Myron is preceded in death by Nancy, loving wife of 57 years, brother Eddie, and son Jeffrey. He is survived by sons Bradley (Rose) and Steven (Lori) LeVine, grandchildren Nicholas LeVine (partner Richard Bellotti) and Bailey Holiver, brothers Dick (Sue) and Robert (Jackie) LeVine, Sister-in law Beryl “Sugar” LeVine, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 22nd, at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Myron to the Venice Family Clinic.
