Obituaries

So saddened to lose my very special cousin Mel. Our relationship makes a good story of fate and coincidence. Even though we are 1st cousins through Iris, we did not meet until 1986. We have Mel to eternally thank for encouraging Iris to call back the telephone number left on their voicemail after sleuthing them out. Long, confusing story, but those in our family who matter the most know that my husband, Michael, our children and I are so very thankful to have connected with our Penner relatives. We have shared birthdays, holidays, weddings, births, the loss of Iris, and now dear Mel. He was so witty, so bright, so charming, so positive and I could go on and on. We loved him very much. My heart goes out to Forrest, Maria, Dave and Liz and their families. We will miss you Mel!
