My mentor and friend. I miss you so very much. The world is less kind without you, less loving, less full of optimism. But we are better versions of ourselves for having had you in our lives. I wish I could have just one more meal, laugh, text, or hug. These are selfish asks, but when the time comes, when we all come out of our houses and out of our solitary grief, I will give those to someone else. In other words, I’ll pay it forward, just as you have always done...for all of us. I love you forever.

I feel bad that I had not seen Barbara in years but we loved her and remember spending time at the Rolling Hills house as a child, time with Jay and Barbara in the 70s and even lived in the same apt complex in Harbor City. barbara will be missed by Marisa and me. She was a great mother and a talented person...
