Malcolm Bershard Sperling

89, a retired accountant, after a brief illness, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. He was a Las Vegas resident since 1987. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Jack and Viola Sperling (nee Bershard) on March 16, 1928. He was an accomplished pilot and flew in his Cessna 182 all over, with the call sign “Quagmire,” for over 40 years, Malcolm is preceded in death by his parent and is survived by Eileen, his beloved wife of 33 years: four sons, David (Karla) Posner, Leonard (Amy) Posner, Barry (Judy) Posner, and Erick (Sara) Posner; brother, Donald (Connie) Sperling; nine grandchildren; and two nieces. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, 6001 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA. The family reuests that memorial donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
