December 18, 1937 – December 30, 2016. Lilly passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, from the advanced stages of lung cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dale, daughters Lisa and Glenna, sons-in-law Barry and Richard and grandchildren Amanda, Brandon, Benjamin, and Evan. She was a loving sister to Ida Brown who preceded her recently in death on November 7, 2016. Lilly was born in City Terrace, California to Louis and Ruth Brown. Her family moved to the Fairfax district in 1954. She graduated Fairfax High School and attended Los Angeles City College where she met Dale. They were married on February 22, 1960. They raised their two daughters in the Fairfax district and moved to Beverlywood in 1996. She volunteered at Hadassah of Southern California and loved to speak Yiddish. She enjoyed traveling with her family. Lilly treasured the theater and supported many local playhouses throughout Los Angeles. Lilly always gave of herself and will be remembered as a dedicated caregiver to family members.
