Obituaries

Leon Irwin Schwartz was born on October 31, 1932 to Sadie and Morris Schwartz. Lee attended Fairfax High School and the University of Southern California where he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. He proudly served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. Lee met and married his soul mate Carol (Bodian) Schwartz, they recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. Throughout his life, he was active in AYSO and Cub Scouts. He was an avid traveler, who loved history and historical sites. He is survived by his wife Carol, his daughters Nancy (Lennard) Billin, Debbie (Jonah) Rohde; and his three granddaughters: Nina Castilla, Samantha and Erin Rohde. He was preceded in death by his son Micah Joel Schwartz. Lee will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hillside Memorial Park: 6001 W. Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles.
