I am one of those St.Paulites who knew Judy as THE TWINS. We met in Mrs. Hirsch's first grade class at Mt. Zion Temple. Judy was always the cutest, smartest, most talented and best Lindy dancer in our tightly knit group of Jewish girls. She was a leader and I followed her to, oh so many, youth group activities! We were the first to call each other when we had news to share. I have a collection of whimsical and clever poems that Judy created for me through our years of friendship. And her watercolor paintings? I told her to sell them. "They're so darn good, Judy! You'll be rich!" I saw her last week and we talked. When I left, she said, "Be careful out there." Now THE TWINS are locked in my memory. I will miss her so much.
