Janice Eileen Weil

November 20, 1928 – November 15, 2016
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Janice graduated from Franklin High School and attended UCLA. A creative person Janice enjoyed knitting, crocheting and needle point. In her later years she became proficient at using her computer to create artistic greeting cards and invitations for members of her family.
In 1953, she married Leonard Weil to who she was married for 55 years until his passing 2008.
Janice is survived by her children, Diane Weil (Les Horowitz), Marilyn Weil- Abelman (David Abelman), Michael Weil (Jamie Weil) and Susan Weil and her grandchildren, Ari, Nathan, Sarah, Joshua, Daniel, Abe and Jordan.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her memory are encouraged to donate to the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Providence St. John’s Health Center, 2200 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Hillside Memorial Park 6001 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90045.
