Obituaries

Helen was born in the Bronx, NY and grew up in Brooklyn on Ave. X. She attended PS206, James Madison High School, and graduated with a degree in accounting from Brooklyn College.
She moved to Southern California after WWII where she met and married Bernard Glatt, M.D. They raised their five children, Ilyne Glatt Engel (Robert), Mark Glatt (Nancy), Robert Glatt (Vickie), Patricia Glatt (Josh) and Arden in Whittier, CA. She found great joy with her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
After retiring as the office manager of her husband’s anesthesia group in La Habra, she and Bernie moved to Palm Desert and when Bernie passed away, she relocated to Thornton, CO.
She loved traveling, doing the NY Times crossword every day, and was loved by her family and many pets over her long, and full life.
Graveside services will be at Hillside Memorial on Friday June 8, 2018 at 10am.
