Harvey A. Glaser – April 14, 1928 – May 23, 2022
Harvey was born in St. Louis and moved to Los Angeles when he was four years old, living first in San Marino and later in Beverly Hills where he fondly recalled watching the construction of The Beverly Hilton from his family’s home on Trenton Dr. after graduating from USC. Harvey’s passion for the law was boundless and he was honored in 2013 by the Los Angeles County Bar Assoc. and inducted into their “50 Year Club” for practicing law in Los Angeles for five decades.

Harvey is survived by his loving wife Marlene, his son Marc (Sharon) Schur, his son Paul J. Schur of New York City, and granddaughters Jennifer and Amanda (Jack) Schur. He is also survived by his sister Harriet Ephraim, nephews Craig and Brian Ephraim, his brother-in-law Leonard Ginsburg, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Rosalind and Yaakov Glasser and their extensive family in Israel, and an abundance of friends, including the Ehrenberg family, and a very special group of life-long friends who immediately welcomed Harvey into their lives after he married Marlene. Harvey is also Zayde to Connor, Reilly and Aidan Martin and Emily and Andrew Silver. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Pearl Glaser.

Harvey was a kind soul, never hesitating to throw himself into passion projects that included his “train room” where he worked for hours at a time on his N scale model trains. Anyone who knew Harvey was touched by his kindness and humor; he was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity. Funeral services are private at Hillside. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am or a charity of your choice.
