Harold V. Brown, 97 passed away on March 9, 2016. Active and independent he had a zest for life, learning and exotic foods.
He grew up in L.A., received a doctorate in Public Health from UCLA and for many years was the Director of the UCLA Office of Environmental Health and Safety. Following his retirement he became a member and Chairman of the SCAQMD board.
Preceded in death by his wife Anne Brown, he is survived by his children Howard (Barbara) and Marsha (Jeff). He was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held at Hillside Memorial Park on Sunday, March 13 at 3:00 p.m.
