Obituaries

Gaye Hertan passed away on February 16, 2023, with her ever loving husband holding her hand.  Gaye was born to Victor and Myra Reve Hertan on March 7, 1961 in Denver Colorado.  She was raised in New York and Los Angeles, and graduated from Hamilton High School.  She graduated from UCLA in 1983, where she met her future husband and soulmate Ronald Keoski.  She earned her law degree from USC in 1987, and realized her life-long dream of becoming an attorney, first with Jones Day and for the past 30 years, with Seyfarth Shaw.  Gaye and Ron had 3 wonderful sons, who she took great pride in guiding their growth to the extraordinary men they’ve become.

Gaye loved every aspect of her life, from her family, her friends, her career, her clients, and all things Disney.  She is survived by her husband of 37 years, her sons Sean (Whitney), Dylan, and Ryan (Liz), her step-father Ken Ziedman (Ellie), and her siblings Josh, Michelle and David.  She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, who all loved their Aunt Gaye.

Everyone who knew Gaye loved her for her warm nature, her sense of humor, openness and kindness.  We will all miss her, but will treasure our memories.

A memorial service will be held at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Large Chapel.  6001 W. Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
