Elise Carol Kroll Profile Photo

Elise Carol Kroll passed away peacefully in Beverly Hills on May 9, 2017 after a long struggle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in New York City on May 10, 1955, daughter of the late Ruth and Sol Kroll. She was the youngest sibling of Judith Kroll, Gerald Kroll, and Elliott Kroll, who mourn her loss. Elise graduated from UCLA, where she received multiple degrees in Russian literature.
In the midst of her illness, she managed to write a novella for children, The Private Club For Tiger Cubs. Elise proudly served on the board of WriteGirl, an organization dedicated to empowering young woman through writing and mentoring. She is survived by her sons Alexander Kroll and Ariel Drouault, as well as her husband Francois Drouault, daughter-in-law Malka Fenyvesi and granddaughter Roza-Mira Kroll Fenyvesi.
Elise’s beautiful spirit inspired and moved her many dear friends, who along with her family formed the center of her universe. Elise changed the lives of so many. We will miss her more than words can express – and strive to live up to her beauty, generosity of spirit and unconditional love.
