Eda Popper Einbinder born July 4, 1923 in Newark, New Jersey to Birdie Breger Popper and Mortimer Popper, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Santa Monica, California, attended by her daughter Bette Einbinder and son in law Ralph Nelson, on Sunday evening, December 18, 2022.
Eda and her husband Sylvan Phillip Einbinder were married 52 years and he preceded her in death in 1997. Eda leaves three children , Michael Phillip Einbinder(Nancy), Amy Einbinder Arnold and Bette Einbinder (Ralph Nelson).
Eda leaves two grandchildren, Matthew Phillip Einbinder (Hilary Gallwey) and William Picher Arnold(Aurelia Mas) and two great grandchildren, Jack Phillip Einbinder and William Townes Arnold.
A woman of tremendous warmth, generosity and kindness, Eda was never without a smile on her face. Throughout her many years , she participated in numerous organizations including Hadassah , the Council for Jewish Women and PTA. She was employed as a Case/ Social Worker in Essex County, New Jersey for years and when she and her husband relocated to Santa Monica , California they became involved in The Center for the Partially Sighted . Her husband read books for the blind and Eda was assistant to the Director of the Center.
Eda was beloved by her family and anyone who met her made a friend.
