In Loving Memory of Derek Scott Rosenberg. Derek Scott Rosenberg passed away peacefully on May 17th in Newport Beach, California. Derek was born on September 14th 1967 in Los Angeles, California to Roger Rosenberg and Cheryl Rosenberg. Derek was a true intellect with a BFA from Emerson College and graduate degrees in Psychology. His passion was to help others and he deeply loved and honored his family. As a self-proclaimed introvert; Derek was deeply reflective, insightful and cast a truly visible and vibrant presence. Derek is terribly missed. He is survived by his father, Roger Rosenberg, his mother, Cheryl Rosenberg, his only brother, Aaron Rosenberg, sister-in-law, Lisa Rosenberg, his two nephews and niece, Zach, Jake and Callie Rosenberg, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and of course, his deeply loved “canine siblings”, Rosie and Lilly. Funeral services are Sunday, May 21st @ 1:00 at Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
