Daniel Raphael Paluch, 42, of Los Angeles, passed away on July 8, 2025.

A devoted husband, father, son, friend, and advocate, Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Nathalie Amir Paluch; their cherished daughters, Raffaella and Isadora; his parents, Barbara Bernstein and Romy Paluch; and a wide circle of beloved friends and extended family.

Born in Los Angeles on January 12, 1983, Daniel graduated from Columbia University and earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California. His professional path was as varied as it was accomplished—he worked as a software developer, economic forecaster, and litigation attorney at a global law firm, and was a passionate advocate against antisemitism.

Daniel’s international upbringing included time living in Germany during his childhood, which contributed to his multilingual fluency—he spoke German, conversational French, and Hebrew—and his global perspective. He had a deep love for opera, classical music, and grand gestures, often feeling he belonged to a different era.

Daniel will be remembered for his dry wit, sharp intellect, kind heart, and quiet compassion. He had an extraordinary gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued—a well that never ran dry, always ready to offer comfort to those in need. His passions included the outdoors, martial arts, watchmaking, and long runs, but his truest joy came from time spent with family and friends.

Daniel and Nathalie met while studying in a public library during law school and shared 13 beautiful years together, including seven years of marriage. Fatherhood was his greatest pride—he poured his whole heart into raising his daughters with love, curiosity, and devotion. He was the kind of husband poets attempt to describe but never quite can. His love was present in every glance, every word, every quiet act. He lived out the meaning of devotion.

A private celebration of Daniel’s life will be held, during which loved ones will be invited to share memories and reflections. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support and asks that Daniel be remembered for the warmth he gave, the laughter he inspired, and the unwavering loyalty he offered to those he loved.

Daniel’s spirit will live on in all who knew him and were touched by his grace.
