Daniel E. Mintz

Daniel E. Mintz, 79, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026. Born in Los Angeles, Daniel lived a life marked by family, laughter, and a genuine passion for the people and things he loved.

Daniel attended the University of Wisconsin before earning his law degree from Loyola Law School. Daniel will be remembered for the kind of person he was: someone with a big heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and a way of bringing warmth and laughter to those around him.

Daniel was a devoted football fan, with a special place in his heart for his Wisconsin Badgers and the Los Angeles Rams.

Above all, Daniel cherished his family. He was the proud son of Dr. I. Lew and Tobia Mintz and the brother of Jane Schwab (Mintz). He is survived by his son, Aaron Mintz, and Aaron’s wife, Jenna, and their children, Lew and Sammie; and his daughter, Aimee Tanneberger, and her husband, Michael, and their children, Brayden and Emily. His children and grandchildren were a source of great pride and joy, and his love for them was unmistakable.
