Betty Vincent-Karl, aged 92, passed away on August 11th, 2024, at her home in Westwood. She was born on January 27th, 1932, at Long Island Hospital, in Brooklyn, New York, to Alex Cohen and Sade Lefkowitz. She was a proud resident of Westwood, California and was a student at UCLA and UC Berkeley. She was married to Marshall Pearlman for 14 years, to Jarrett Vincent for 2 years, and she spent the last 35 years of her life married to her devoted husband, Christian Karl. She served as the HOA President at the Longford Condominiums in Westwood for 23 years, was involved in an autobiography group, painted in art classes and a member of Hillcrest Country Club where she enjoyed playing tennis. Betty was incredibly warm, loving, and funny. Betty was a true creative force, a visionary whose artistic talents knew no bounds. Whether painting, designing fashion, or crafting beautiful interiors, she had an impeccable eye for detail and a unique ability to bring her visions to life. Her creativity, passion, and elegance were reflected in everything she touched. She loved music, dancing, and was a very talented cook who enjoyed reading cookbooks for ideas. Betty always had the ability to crack a joke with a twinkle in her eye. She is survived by her husband, Christian Karl; a younger brother, Robert Colman; three children, Andrew Pearlman, Curt Pearlman, and Allyson Spielman-Hagemeier; six grandchildren, Brittany Pearlman, Nicole Davis, Michael Pearlman, Shayna Spielman, Lauren Spielman, William Hagemeier; and one great-grandchild, Olivia Davis. Family, friends, and others are invited to Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary, 6001 W. Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90045, at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, to reminisce and honor the life of Betty. Virtual zoom link: https://hillsidememorial.livecontrol.tv/a43012a3
