May 25, 1950 – May 15, 2017 Betsy Ruth Dreisen, born in Los Angeles on May 25, 1950, passed away peacefully in her home on May 15, 2017, at the age of 66. Betsy is the daughter of the late Bud and Jean Dreisen. Betsy was surrounded by her devoted sister, Janet Dreisen Rappaport (Dr. Herbert Rappaport), and her longtime companion Stuart Bega. Betsy had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed being with family. She will also be missed by her niece, Elizabeth Karatz Siegel, her nephews, Matthew Karatz and Teddy Karatz and their families. Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, May 19 at 11:00am. (800) 576-1994.
