Obituaries

We will miss Bobby Gray, our grandmother and great-grandmother. Bobby was the person you always wanted on your team. She was a longtime Lakers fan, and I’ll never forget how she proudly wore her Lakers jersey to a Sacramento Kings game in her 80s. She was a force to be reckoned with, and no heckler dared to confront her! She taught us a love of games, especially card games. My earliest memories are Poppa Kenny and her teaching me how to play and win Casino. Most of all she loved her family. I’m so thankful for the times we could all be together. It was so wonderful seeing her meet her great grandson Malcolm, born in 2018. He loved celebrating her 90th birthday with her last year, including eating the 5 layer chocolate cake. We are sad she did not get the chance to meet her great granddaughter Penelope, who was born this July. We will miss her fierce spirit and are thankful she had so many healthy years. -Tyler, Kristina, Malcolm and Penelope
