I cannot remember a time that I did not know Arline. I was Dana's very first babysitter. Arline and Mort and my parents went out to dinner about 3 blocks away, and Arline went out to a phone booth about every 20? minutes to say "hello" and see if we needed anything. I was 12 and Dana was an infant. We were fine and I had fun. Arline was my mother's closest and most loyal friend. I have so much admiration for Arline's spirit and energy and generosity. What a life force. I send my heartfelt condolences to Dana and Michael.

Arleen was hands down one of the warmest, most genuine, and classy people I had the pleasure to know. We feel so fortunate for the cherished travel memories and fun times we had with her. After a full life I smile knowing she is joining Mort in the big orchestra in the sky. Yehi zichra baruch

Aunt Arline…your life was a Blessing, your Memory is a Treasure, you are Loved Beyond Words and will be Missed Beyond Measure.

We send our deepest condolences to the family. What a force she was! Elegant, funny, interested and interesting. We treasure the times we traveled together. And, as we toast our veterans this weekend, we are also so personally pleased Michael was able to help Arline with well deserved veteran’s benefits. How lucky we are that she stayed on this earth for a long and beautiful love-filled life. RIP, Arline 😘

We are heartbroken to learn of Arline’s passing.. Although we met her in her older years, we instantly recognized her joie de vivre, intelligence and wit. And her warmth. Through Dana, we learned so much about her life and how she dealt with both the joys and blows. She was fierce, in the most wonderful of ways. And kind. Always kind. Dana, her beloved daughter, was a wonderful daughter and their bond was beautiful. How we envied how long she had with her mom, but it is never enough time with those we love. May she live forever in Dana’s and her family’s heart. She will always be watching over her angel daughter Dana.

I am heartbroken this lovely creature is gone. She was the most elegant lady I ever knew. Even though we were miles apart, our friendship endured the distance. I will miss her but feel so fortunate to have known her.
