My Father once told me that death was a part of life. Now I really understand the meaning. It really hit home. I’ve never felt closer to anyone before than I do now that my Mother has passed. It’s like a bad dream. I’ve only known life with my mother in it. From the day I was born until now. She is the one that taught me how to walk and talk, take my first showers and dress me. We were fortunate to have her with us for so many years. She was a strong woman and always inspired me to do better. She had a good heart and everything she did was for her children. The sacrifices and compromises she made, she was always thinking of her family. She used to say that she loved us all, but in different ways. We were all very special to her. She wanted us all to do well in whatever we did so she would constantly push us to do better. We learned so much from her. She made friends wherever she would go. Even strangers would gravitate towards her. She would put others ahead of herself and never asked for anything in return. She was a very giving and generous person. She didn’t really have money so she helped out in other ways. She never wanted to be a bother or an inconvenience. Even until the day she passed. The way she passed. She never wanted to be a burden. She was always very independent and doing things for herself. Always trying to make it better. She never wanted anyone to be upset with her. I thank her for all that she’s done for me. We were blessed to have such a caring Mother. Thank You Mom. I love you Mom and you will be missed by everyone that you’ve touched. She never liked to say goodbye, so I’m saying so long.
