March 12, 1975-April 6, 2017
On April 6, Andrew peacefully left the boundary of his body to soar the skies of Southern California.
Born on a cold, drizzly day in Spokane, Washington, Andrew began his influencing. Andrew was joined by this sister, Sarah on July 4, 1977. By the time Andrew reached 7 years of age, his family is in San Diego. Andrew was joined on February 13, 1982 by his new baby sister Kirah. Together as a family, they grew up in San Diego all together.
In late 1998 Andrew’s parents Sharon and Richard, along with his younger sister departed to the state of Maryland. For almost 8 years Andrew found himself without his parents in the family home. The quality care of care providers along with the watchful eye of his older sister Sarah, then his younger sister Kirah, Andrew sustained life and was an active visitor to the San Diego sights such as museums, sporting events and world class zoo.
By 2010 Andrew’s parents returned to the West Coast settling in the San Fernando Valley. This began the reuniting of all of Andrew’s family. His new family home was located in Ventura County with a fully remodeled suite of rooms for Andrew’s care and quality of life with his sister Sarah and her husband Greg and his niece Zoe and nephew Mason. For the next five years Andrew, his mom and dad, sisters, brother-in-law and niece and nephew enjoyed the closeness of day to day family life again. As Andrew became more fragile his life became more difficult and he was unable to stay.
His smile, sparkling eyes and giving spirit will be with us always.
Andrew is survived by his parents Richard and Sharon, his fraternal Grandmother, Evelyn Brent, his maternal Grandmother, Adela Levine. His spirit soars over his sister Sarah and Kirah, brother-in-law Great, niece and nephew Zoe and Mason. Also Andrew leaves 11 cousins, 9 aunts and uncles and friends who all have been touched and humbled by Andrew who was both courageous and strong willed.
Thanks to all the care providers, medical staff and systems support that have touched Andrew’s life from day one to the end.
