Father’s Day Remembrance
June 19, 2011
At Hillside, we are committed to every one of the families who have joined our community and are dedicated to preserving the memories of those who have left us. For Father’s Day, we have created a special and touching event to celebrate fathers and honor our memories of them.
What?
Remember your father with a special gift from the heart. Write a note or a prayer in your father’s honor and we will have it placed in the Western Wall in Jerusalem. This is Hillside’s gift to you.
10:30AM – 11AM Father’s Day Remembrance Service
The service led by Rabbi Morley T. Feinstein and Cantor Jay I. Frailich of University Synagogue will include music, film and song, honoring the memory of fathers, grandfathers and other important men in our lives.
For your convenience, a florist will be on the grounds.
In the spirit of tzedekah, please contribute canned and packaged dry food, eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones to the Hillside Chesed Project.
When?
June 19, 2011
Hillside Memorial Park will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
